Lumitron, a medical imaging modality start-up, is continuing to develop its new HyperVIEW scanner. The system adopts a novel approach to medical imaging, which is claimed to offer up 1,000 times higher resolution than what is currently possible with X-rays. Will such figures be enough, however? Or has the vendor underestimated the task ahead?
