Sword Health, a company specialising in offering virtual physical therapy, has launched an AI assistant to guide patients during their virtual care sessions.
The tool, dubbed Phoenix, can help patients during their care sessions, instructing them as they perform their exercises and conversationally reacting and directing them to give what the vendor suggests is a clinical experience.
The vendor’s direction appears popular, with the new functionality being launched alongside news that it has secured a financing round of $130m, bringing its total raised to $340m, and now boasts a valuation of $3bn.
Investors are happy for now, but will AI be enough to keep them sweet?
