Tampa General Hospital has doubled down on its partnership with Palantir, and has now selected the vendor’s AI solution to power its connected care coordination operation.
The move will see the provider use Palantir’s Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP) as its core AI and analytics platform, aiding the provider as it seeks to improve bed utilisation, patient itineraries and staffing allocation. Using the AIP, Tampa General will deliver a Care Coordination Operating System, which will use the provider’s domain expertise, real-time situational awareness and large language models as decision support tools for eligibility and prioritisation of workflows.
This focus should, according to the partners, yield improvements in patient care, reducing waiting times and the overall length of stay.
It’s a valuable use case, but is Palantir the one to pull it off.
